A Mobile Music-Rhythm game (BEATSTAR) had Megitsune in it. I played it, was confused at first, but as soon as Su kicked in with the pre-chorus, my eyes opened wide and it caught my attention instantly. Looked them up on YouTube, and dived head-first into the fox hole. From there, I went through all of the band’s history and lore, and explored the entire discography.

Back when they first came onto the scene, I was always looking for new metal bands to get into (I still do) and I had heard about this new metal fusion band that was known as Babymetal. I was intrigued as I didn't know how that would work, I watched all their music videos and proceeded to add all of them to my playlist. I never stopped checking in on their new stuff and their live shows and such. I still support them and It's been quite the journey since.

Casual interest for years, have known of them since near the start. Rediscovered during COVID lockdown, became a staple of my playlist. Absolutely adore and respect their dedication and work. They have evolved over the years and what I thought was a novelty act is in fact serious and honestly metal as f. Look forward to their next US tour, I have not yet seen them live and I fully will. Just going by youtube videos, these live events are must see, and one cannot appreciate fully until one has experienced. Therefore I must.

Discover weekly on Spotify, that's how i found Oh Majinai! And it quickly evolved into listening to them constantly

Discussing metal with a coworker back around the end of November, and he mentioned they performed with Rob Halford. I'd never thought to check them out before, and I loved their energy, so I began watching YouTube videos. Soon, I was listening to everything YouTube could throw at me, and the algorithm is definitely slanted in favor of BABYMETAL now.

First came across them in a anime-magazine and checked them out. Later on a Youtuber I liked tweeted about how he just discovered them and can't stop listening. I remembered them and re-listened to gimme chocolate. Then I completely fell into the fox hole
82
First heard gimme-chocolate around the time it got big, but didn't listen to anything else. Re-discovered them through youtube reaction videos, and slowly descended the foxhole until fully consumed into fandom.
